  1. The weekend for February 19th I was visiting relatives in Manitowac 
  2. county, Wisconsin when by brother pointed out a series of articles in 
  3. the Herald Times Reporter about early morning sightings of balloons over 
  4. Lake Michigan. This seemed odd to me because no balloonist in their right 
  5. mind would put up a balloon on the west side of Lake Michigan with 
  6. February's easterly winds.

  8. The paper reported the Coast Guard as saying the objects were "balloons 
  9. of unknown origin as balloonist are not required to report..." These had 
  10. been sighted repeatedly over the course of a couple of weeks.

  12. I was wondering if late january/early feb. had many reportings in the 
  13. lake michigan area.
